Beat cellulite: Choose the right treatment for orange peel

Beat cellulite: orange peel

Orange peel drives us all crazy. These are the best anti-cellulite treatments.

There is one important symptom for all types of cellulite, which should never be underestimated - it is about fluid retention. These are subcutaneous deposits of fluid and sediment that can appear at any age (hence in girls!) Making the skin relaxed and lifeless.

Usually, this phenomenon is emphasized before the cycle and especially in menopause, along with changes in hormonal balance. If you are also bothered by the question of how to get rid of cellulite, you should first recognize your type of cellulite, and then choose the most suitable treatment to combat orange peel.

If you deal with this problem in time, you will prevent it from getting worse. This is the only way to effectively prevent hard fat deposits.

What type does your cellulite belong to?

Skin that looks like orange peel is not always the same. Namely, there are several phases, more or less visible, which are important to recognize to choose the most adequate and effective treatments against cellulite. Check the stage of your cellulite.

Stand in front of a mirror and observe your body closely to determine if there is any area with deposits. The legs and buttocks are the parts of the body where, regardless of age, fluid is most often retained - and this is where every type of cellulite is seen first. Finally, pinch the skin on the outer thigh with your fingers: what is the consistency of the skin?

Feel that your skin is cold and loose? Are "holes" formed? Feel the pain? Pinching the outer part of the thigh is an unmistakable test for recognizing the type of cellulite.

First stage: Swelling is noticeable and the skin is like a test

When you pinch the skin, it is soft, like dough, but it is still elastic, and only when you press it a little more, slight depressions appear. You may notice bulges and swollen parts (edema) caused by fluid retention, especially in the knee area, on the leaves, and the thighs. This is the type that is easiest to treat - edematous cellulite. Recently formed, it is typical for thin women and young girls. It can occur before the cycle.

Second stage: Fat deposits are harder and more compact

The skin has the characteristic consistency of "orange peel", it is lifeless and dehydrated, dilated capillaries and redness can be noticed in some areas. When the skin on the thighs is pinched, a permanent white mark remains.

If the skin is massaged superficially, the alternating presence of small nodules and firm and resistant deposits can be noticed, as opposed to softer and more relaxed parts. This is fibrous cellulite, typical of the middle stage, and usually affects women of childbearing age.

Stage Three: The classic "mattress effect" appears

The skin is loose, grainy, lifeless, and grayish in some places. Fat deposits are noticed and irregularities are expressed; the nodules are very visible and the skin is cold, due to poor circulation. It is about sclerotic, ie hard cellulite, which was formed a long time ago and is common in women older than 50 years. The skin is very perforated ("mattress effect"), and this imperfection can be noticed without pinching the skin.

Anti-cellulite treatments: what works?

Most women, even very active women, have cellulite. Some mind, some don't. If cellulite bothers you too, know that many treatments can make cellulite less noticeable - at least for a while. A treatment that effectively removes fat often does not affect cellulite. Here are the cellulite removal treatments that have the best results according to research studies.

Shockwave acoustic wave therapy

With a hand-held device that uses sound waves to break down cellulite, it penetrates deep into the skin, all the way to the fibrous formations of connective tissue around fat deposits. Studies show that this therapy can also reduce the appearance of cellulite because it stimulates the production of collagen. The treatment lasts 30 minutes.

After only a few treatments, significant improvements are visible, and 6-12 treatments are needed to achieve long-term results. The effects of shockwave acoustic wave therapy are visible for about six months, sometimes longer.

Laser treatment

Different types of laser treatments are used to treat cellulite. The energy of the laser breaks the tough bands under the skin that cause us to see indentations like orange peel. This treatment can also thicken your skin, which is important because the skin often thins where cellulite develops.

Thickening of the skin can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Laser Cellulase ™ can reduce the appearance of cellulite by up to 70%, and the results last for a year or longer. Its effectiveness comes primarily from the fact that it penetrates the skin to a depth of 1 cm.

A fat-melting laser is introduced through a slit in the skin, and then the elastic fibers are torn off by heat. In this way, fat deposits are separated from the surrounding tissue. At the same time, connective tissue regeneration is encouraged.

Mesotherapy

This treatment is performed exclusively by doctors because the therapy involves giving medical cocktails. This means that various drug substances are injected with thin microinjections
