Meet the new makeup trend: Halo eye

Halo eye makeup trend

Makeup is a kind of art, and trends are changing. We are here to present you with the new makeup trend Halo eye!

When it comes to eye makeup, most of us have somehow embraced smokey eyes, which have already become a cult trend. We have greatly perfected it, so the road to it now seems like a walk on safe terrain. No surprises when it comes to the result. But recently, another technique for continuing lids has begun to stand out on the makeup scene, which many claims could become a dangerous competition to the smoky eye. It is a "halo eye" style.

What is the key to a "halo eye" look?

The focus of this look is actually on metallic, shiny, and glittery shades that are applied to the center of both the upper and lower eyelid, while the contrast is achieved with darker shades of shadows. They are applied on the inside and outside of the eyelid, which contributes to the illusion of larger and brighter eyes.

What effect does "halo eye" guarantee?

Brilliant, more alert, and fresh look. That is why halo eye has become a new makeup trend.

How to achieve this look?

The easiest way to do this is to divide the drops into those parts - the inner corner, the heart, and the outer corner. The point is to achieve an almond shape on each side of the eyelid, but - instead of switching from light to dark shades of shadows - go in reverse order.

Start with a dark shade, apply the lighter one in the middle of the eyelid, and finish with the dark one again. Repeat the same procedure on the lower lash line. And to finish this story, draw a thin line along the lashes with a pencil or eyeliner, and don't forget to add your favorite mascara.

Is it suitable for both day and evening?

Absolutely! Just pay attention to the shades of shadows with which you will create it. For daily editions, choose softer options, and save the more intense ones for evening looks.
